With millions of orphans on the continent – created by related health and poverty issues, Grassroots Organizations working to provide support for these children – mainly through orphanages, and financial support for education and food, their work is critical to the direction of the continent.

Volunteering with Child Development Programs & Services

Our Grassroots Partners that focus on child development encompass a broad range of areas where volunteers can get involved. Staff training, program development (educational or extra-curricular such as sports) are key areas. Education, health, sustainably fundraising (operations support), and construction can all come into play within child development.

One of the key things volunteers can do is spend time with youth supported by various Grassroots Partners, getting to know them, and having fun together. Volunteers working in Child Development often find their work stretching several niche areas.
